My Personal Mission

My story:
For almost 30 years I have worked in real estate with some of the brightest individuals in the field, and with some of the top companies either locally, regionally or nationally. My career has spanned many aspects, which has given me a great understanding of this business.
As a native of Richmond, I began my career working in general brokerage. I then got involved with new home sales & construction, and began working with HHHunt on the development of large scale, highly amenitized communities. Here, I was also exposed to design and development of commercial and mixed use communities.
In 1999, I moved to Florida to be a part of Del Webb, which became Pulte Homes. Here I received what has to be classified as a master’s degree in Active Adult community development, with the nations #1 developer and builder of large scale Active Adult communities.
Having spent 14 years with Del Webb, I gained a tremendous understanding of how to take into consideration the physical, social, and intellectual/cultural dimensions and dynamics of this buyer segment. My success has been built around this understanding of the importance of customer satisfaction and customer service overall.
An opportunity with another national builder brought me back to Virginia. I then moved to the next segment of my career with North America’s #1 residential management company, FirstService Residential. Here I learned what happens before, during and after development has been completed.
What a great learning experience I have had over these many years and I’m proud to say I survived. I consider it a privilege to return to Richmond, continue my learning and to assist the many individuals that I come in contact with on a daily basis.
